Collaborative approach to restaurant construction success

There are a lot of contractors out there who finish a project, collect their check, and never look back.
We take a different approach.
If your business fails six months after we build it, that's a problem for us too. Nobody wants their name attached to a project that didn't work. But more importantly, we genuinely care about our clients' success—it's why we do this work in the first place.
Little Ripper is a perfect example of this philosophy in action. This small restaurant project could have been a straightforward build-out, but the owners brought a level of intentionality and collaboration that made all the difference. And we matched their energy.
We also had the privilege of working alongside Shawn and Amber Keltner of Keltners Co Architects and Heather Phillips-Spalding of Sunday Supper Club for interiors — working together as a team supporting the owners helped make Little Ripper the great restaurant it is today!
Here's how our collaborative approach played out on this specific project:
The result speaks for itself. Little Ripper gets incredible press and has become a community hub. The owners are thriving because, as a team, we worked together to make their vision a reality.
What made these owners exceptional wasn't just that they cared about their business—of course they did. It was their willingness to invest in the right team and processes from day one. They had experience (they'd operated part of the space as a coffee shop before) and knew that cutting corners on coordination and planning would cost them later.
Every project gets this same level of care from us, but the specific tactics vary based on what each client needs. We're not just putting up walls and running electrical; we're building the foundation for someone's livelihood.
That's why we approach every build as if we're invested in the outcome—because we are.
If you're in the Glassell Park neighborhood, stop by and check out Little Ripper!
